Enve 45 tubular rim
Light, aerodynamic, stiff and strong. At just 295 grams this is one of the lightest rims you can get anywhere. The patented process they use molds the spoke holes eliminating drilling of the rim.  That means the fibers are not cut in the manufacturing making a much stronger rim allowing higher spoke tensions.  Higher spoke tensions mean you will have to true them less.  I don't know exactly how they do it but they also come out of the box incredibly straight.  We have worked with other high end carbon rim makers from the US and have had lots of issues getting the spoke tension equal - not so with these.  When I first met with this company a few years ago at The Sea Otter I was pretty taken back by the cost of the rims.  They are expensive.  But I think they are the best rims you can buy so if you want the best go no further. 295 grams and comes in 20, 24 and 28 hole options. comes with internal nipples. Enve suggest you use their special brake pads sold separately (or it voids their warranty) ERD 564 Rim width 21.6 mm rim depth 45 mm
