Neuvation Cycling Shop Photos

This is the shop side of the store.  We set up a small area to display the wheels and bikes.  Unlike most bike shops we just show four complete bikes and then work with customers to determince which components they want to put on the bike.  Everything is customer built to order using a wide selection of wheels, saddles, handlebars and other components.

We have a good selection of test bikes ready to go.  Some people want to ride around the parking lot and other people want to take them out for a day.  Whatever the customer wants is fine with us.

Our wheelbuilding set up has been modified and fine tweeked by us over the years.  We build everything to a spec using dial indicators for both the radial and lateral run out and using a Park tensiometer for the tension.  All nipples are lubed to ease in the high tension build and then finished off with Loctite to help prevent them from moving.  We installed the dial indicators on the stand long before Park ever made them available.

We tried using the comercially made lacing platforms but prefer ours better.  We can skewer the hub so that it stays in place while we lace up the rim.

We use the standard Phil Wood threading machine to custom make spoke lengths if we need to.  It's a nice tool.

Bikes are all built to order on this stand.  Nothing is assembled before we get the order so you can totally customize any bike build.

Some of our rim inventory.  Some we buy in the US but some we import from Taiwan for better pricing.  Yes, we do have old bikes around to tool around the warehouse and go for lunch.

Some of our factory built wheel inventory.  We normally have about 700-800 sets of wheels in stock (or more).  We get them in 40 foot containers directly from Taiwan.

The shipping doc waits for our UPS pickup.  That's a pretty normal day of shipping for us.  Not too big and not too small.
